OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of the course, participant should be able to be able to:
1. Describe radiographic anatomy of the cervical and lumbar spine as it pertains to interventions.
2. Select appropriate patients for cervical or lumbar transforaminal epidural steroid injection, as well as facet and sacroiliac joint injection.
3. Describe principles of radiofrequency lesioning and specific lesioning techniques for facet joint and sacroiliac joint pain.
4. Asses current diagnostic tests for painful degenerative discs, and their limitations.
5. Identify the principles of neuromodulation and select appropriate patients for neuromodulation treatments.
